I dont have ETS but people in my club use it and the speed at which you can race mark the birds and also the reading of the clock is brilliant. It is also much more secure than conventional methods. Dont take any heed of these people who are continually knocking it as in my opinion they dont know what they are talking about. If you have any doubts go and see a demonstration or talk to the Unikon Rep at Blackpool then make your own mind up...

Dont think there is much you can do if they are staeting a completly new club but if they are going to take the assets of the Holytown club with them then you should have had notification of the meeting. Suggest you fone Linda at the SHU tmorrow and let them know whats goin on and also the officials of Lanarkshire Fed as IM sure they will be interested as if its a new club they will be wanting to affiliate to the Fed I suppose or are they gnna break away altogether and go with the RPRA in which case I would advise you to change the locks etc on your clubrooms and keep a hold on any trophies etc that you may have.

The poll needs an option to leave things as they are does it not as all the options are negatives and I would not do any of these things but try and get better myself.

Its not the clock but the fancier who decides how many birds go on thr result,yes the electronic will time them in but its up to the fancier how many to put forward for the final result. We have a fancier in our club and when the printout comes from his ETS he will say just take the first two or three and then the 10th or so as it is my pool pigeon so dont start blaming the clocking system its all down to the fancier in the end.

They are cos I got a delivery yesterday only thing now is the driver wouldnt take cash as payment had t write a cheque very strange.

How come if this is supposed to be an EU ban that a pigeon show is being held this weekend in Germany and the reply from the organisers was that the ban does not affect Pigeons? Any clues?

The plant is one off the Coleus family but dont know its full name but it absolutely stinks o cat pee when you squeeze it. Its an annual so you have to take cuttings and plant every year.

Its easy to make as all you need is a peice of wood bout 18 ins long with a hinge in the middle so that the wood can swing up and down and weight it with lead at one end. put about 1lb of lead on it then when a pigeon land on it it stays open but if a cat tried it would swing down dropping the cat off. hope this helps

As you say this is only a recomendation and will be voted on by the members at the race programme meeting at the end of October. Remember if you are not there you cant vote and its no use moaning after the event if you didnt go and use your vote.

I,ll be there again this year. Staying in the Cliffs for the first time but wont be at the show on the sat morning as its too crowded. Went back bout 2pm last year and it was much easier to get around.
