The East of Scotland Federation are holding a Quiz Afternoon on Sunday 9th Feb in Castlepark Bowing Club, West Loan Preastopans, starting at 1pm. Panel W Smith, R White, J Mechan from the Solway Federation, Billy Wortley has kindly agreed to chair the panel. Wee Dougie passed away peacefully last night in hospital, he hadnt been in the best of health for a while but never let it get him down. Dougie was my friend and neighbour for many years and it was him who first introduced me to racing pigeons, building me my first loft, a small rabbit hutch type that stood on my Granda,s coal box. Rest in Peace pal.
