forget get good quality pea nuts for human consumption

mate i say your problem is over feeding the corn needs to be measured right for young birds also get them to eat peanuts not to many mind one per bird how much u feeding them go into the loft late in the evening u can get closer to the birds as they don't like flying off there perch late in the eveing at feed them a peanut on there perch do this for a week or two and it should make them a little tamer id say your main problem is over feeding i play with the youngsters in the nest that way in the young bird loft they are already really used too u

could allways get your favourite kind and maybe 2 racers to train the dogs just a tought

if for traindogs mate racers might be better as if u go too far with tumblers there homing abilty is not the best im not sure what your plans are
