Hi again folks. As there is still a lot of help being offered to Phoebe's cause I thought I would organise a wee YB race. It will be from around 60 miles with birds I have trained to 45 miles so far. I have 24 birds that will race. It will cost £10- per bird to enter. The first bird home will win £50 for the lucky punter and the rest will go to Phoebe's appeal fund. Once I have all the positions taken I will put the ring numbers in a hat and pull one for each person. I will then hold the race at the first avaiable oportunity. I am happy to to carry on and do what we can. I actually had a wee idea that I might have a wee race with my own birds. I have 24 YBs trained out to 50 miles. I thought if I could sell 24 tickets for £10. Toss the birds from down the road, first home gets £50 prize money the rst goes to Phoebe. A wee bit of fun could be had and money raised at the same time. Al.

Sorry Alan, my mistake, it was vallance lofts that had the birds on Elimar, it was the case with the commissin though, they took their cut of the cheque.

I will just add that Elimar did take their commission on the Lot Albear donated to one of the Phoebe auction., despite Albear pointing out the situation. Richard and his moderators here have been more than helpful here and a pleasure to deal with. Al.

I was told today one of the local Game Keepers reckons theres an Eagle Owl not far from town. I had to lock the birds down last year due to the falcon but havent had trouble this year round the loft. Maybe coincidence but it makes me wonder. Al.

SPDS took 6 birds from Glasgow to Oban for £13.50. Its a pity they dont go down south. Al.

I'm looking at a whole new loft at the moment, just waiting for prices.

That would make a cracking Kit box for rollers. Al.

I think you need to be careful posting address's on the net, you never know who is reading the posts. You hear a lot about loft break ins these day. Al.

Thanks very much again every one. I am messaging all the wining bidders details on payment. Could everyone please give details of the auction, either 1 or 2, and the lot the payment is for.
