  4. Think that might be my problem Tommy, a few pairs are a bit slow to lay. Not quite as cold as its been but it blowing a gale and bucketing down now, will be for the next few days too
  5. I have 17 pairs down. Got 20 eggs from 10 pairs betweem 9 and 11 days or there abouts. Theres no sign of the rest looking like laying. Any ideas. Is it worth splitting them and repairing? Al.

  14. Josh if its for the rollers I use deurative instead of just straight wheat and the birds do well on it. I think the bucktons has wheat, barley, red and white dari, naked oats and saflower seed. Al.

  23. Its about 60 mile to the Erskine bridge frm me as the pigeon flies, probably a difficult 60 mile at that. If the roads are quiet its under 1.5 hours by car. I got my YBs coming back from Glasgow last year, started with about 40 and finished with 25 or so. To be honest I know I made a few mistakes along the way so would hope to increase the odds next year. The ones I still have had a few difficult fies (albeit just 60 mile) so I am keen to see how they do this year.
  24. My in laws are in Duntocher which will hopefully make getting the birds down the road a wee bit easier on the odd occasion.
