I havent been online since Friday, all new members have to go through an admin activation (which will be working on again in a few minutes) This is mainly down the the high level of spammers we have had join the site over the last 4 weeks or so.

We are pleased to announce the return of the Pigeonbasics online shows. Many will be aware of the problems the last time the shows were held on the site we are putting the shows together in what we hope is a method to ensure these problems dont arise again. Show Rules - Birds must be the property of the entrant - Pictures must not have been placed on the forum before the show - It is acceptable for the same bird to be though - The picture should have been taken no longer than 2 weeks before the show - Entry is limited to 2 birds per member per class - Birds must carry a life ring - Birds must not have any enhancement to the picture or background - Please do not discuss your entry until permitted to do so. Judging Strategy Due to the problems encountered with previous shows its best we walk before we run so to speak. Each class will be judged by One member of the site, this member will view the locked thread (the same as other members) once the judge has confirmed his winner the thread will be opened to allow all members to enjoy it and air their views. Agree with it all Owen When i have the lofts completed i will be having some metal rods fixed on the back of the lofts with possibly barbed wire on, also some of the cat ultrasonic scarers for when i have the birds out - Also now never leave my birds out on there own which is something i tended to do at the old house. The reason i havent gone for the electric fence is my lofts are right next to a dyke so i think i actually need the cats to be under the loft in the night to keep any potential vermin away. If it wasnt for this reason the electric fence would be the only option i would take.

Ps - Also a great fan of the Porter & Richardson birds although they have now packed in - A chap called Brian Garnham (Is a member on here) im sure has about very best of the P & R birds

Couldnt agree more Jimmy - Many fanciers have got to the top with there birds - My favourite bird from Les was a daughter of 'Sixty Five' and a hen from a pigeon called 'UB40' - More so as Cheryl must have had a thing for someone out the group. On a more serious note im going back for more again next year - Good pigeons at very fair prices.

We honestly dont like banning people whether it be for dual accounts or anything else - We would much rather log into the site and be able to read posts, contribute and enjoy it without dealing with such things but the reality is that at this moment in time this isnt how it is happening. Maybe taking the instant ban approach is the way forward with this, i dont know i would hope not - I think we would all like the members who respect the site and share a dislike for these double accounts to keep us informed on any suspicions etc. This site took many years to be as succesful as it has become and with that comes negative issues, however we are all responsible for keeping it in good order and keeping it Number One - Admin, Mods, Members we cannot function without all three components and if we work together we can only get stronger and better.

Interesting thread to be honest and one as admin i cant help but comment on. Fifer and myself spend an awful lot of time searching through site stats and coming up with IP addresses, log in records etc to assatain who is operating on dual memberships etc. Some members feel members having loads of usernames is just a bit of fun and isnt important - the main thing to ask if why these members feel the need to have several usernames is it for reasons of P*** taking or is it for something more deep rooted and sinister as we have witnessed lately. Its against the rules of the site and also detracts from the limited time us who run it have to do other things like shows, syndicates and other things we would love to do with the site and offer the membership If someone can give a valid reason for a second account then fair enough but those that cant all i can say is enjoy doing it now as it is you very guys that are destroying the number one pigeon site on the internet.... but never mind as long as you have your fun!!!!

I know of fanciers that have done this for the various Old Hen Nationals

Richard dropped the size of the PM file so you may need to delete several pages to fall back into the new quota.

Go to the member center and in the left hand side it will contain your PM's inbox and sentbox - click on sent box and delete from there.

He has an advert in the BHW this week - Spoke with him yesterday how the hell he knocks the products out at them prices i dont know
