At Blackpool we have sold literally 10's of thousands of the Pronafit brand nest felt (Black and Grey) and have not had a single complaint from a customer. This year we will be using those ones and also the coconut ones from Paul Newbold. Steve uses straw and sawdust though so guess its each to our own and if i was to take him nestfelts think they would be put on his bonfire.

Tend to agree - Seems LPW has some very good ones - I wanted to buy a son of 'Invincible Dettori' but not at the price they wanted. If you can wait for a few months the Barcelona Challenge OLR has a YB auction - I put bids in last year for 2 nestmates (Jan aarden x Joe Murphy/Tow Mcewan blood and they have both flown well as youngsters - More than pleased at £40.00 each.

Well done to Ian on relaunching the fund. Its fantastic that PB after the success and hard work of the previous fund still has such a facility to help fanciers in need. Personally cannot think of anyone better to lead the fund than Ian - His record with the Kingslea OLR and its school syndicate says more than words ever could. The Pigeon Basics site its admin, mods and sure members will continue to assist Ian and his commitee in every way possible to ensure its success.

Ps - Lost my pigeon trainer now also ;D

Have just been on the phone to Brian from Pigeoncourier.co.uk and he has informed me very regretably that he is calling it a day with the courier service in the early new year due to his continued poor health making the job very difficult for him to undertake. Brian has been fantastic with the many jobs he has completed for us being on the end of the phone from early morning until late at night and then on the end of PM's also. I cannot thank him enough for the brilliant service including arranging a solo run of 3 jobs for us on a Sunday - booked at 11.30pm on the Saturday - Portsmouth to NE Lincs on a Sunday soley for £90.00. Anyway enough of making his head grow big - I hope if and when he sells the business that the new owners continue with the high standards the man has set.
