Yes mate
- I think you can do too much with a picture - Example and only a personal view - NRCC Lerwick montage this year had 1,2,3 in the open pictured above a cartoon type map of British isles with the bird positioned where its home town is - Will see if i can dig it out as have the pic somewhere - just my view though that it detracts too much from the actual bird.
Adminstration and Pharmacy Dispenser for local Doctor's surgery.
Had similar off many at work - One woman is very interested though and badgers each time for info on how things work with the birds so took her on google and showed her 'Geraldy' site and RPRA site etc.
I havent spoke with Geoff yet however will be doing in the morning to see what his take of it all is - If its open then he will be there and then so shall we albeit maybe take us 10 hours ;D
What im looking for on the thread is a really fantastic picture
Professional standard, bird with a good stand, etc etc
or if someone has some really good clear pictures of birds in flight then that would be just as good
I did get told that Peter Bennett is retiring very shortly as was suggested by the person who called that Charlotte look at buying his equipment etc however didnt think it was a good idea even mentioning it to her as she is busy enough deicing the drinkers each day ;D
I dont think the RPRA would have alot of choice if the Winter Gardens were to say its off.
Sure it wont be but im still getting prepared just in case - Dont mind spending money but not giving it away for nothing.
I did read on another site that there is a possibility the show will be cancelled - Not by the RPRA but by the Winter Gardens ???
Not sure how true but have emailed them to see if any truth to it and if so will cancel the dogs kennels, hotel etc very quickly lol ;D
Does anyone have any pictures of there own pigeons they have had photographed by a professional pigeon photographer (Peter Bennett, Jeff Walton, Dave Stone, etc etc etc)
If so can you share the pictures with us?

1st - Bird Number 7 Owned by Fits
2nd - Bird Number 5 Owned by Chichichi
3rd Bird Number 13 Owned by Micci
Very good question
My ideal numbers would be
12 Racing cocks
12 - Hens - Solely for the Old Hens National
30 Young birds
6 pairs of stock
Im like most in that i know i have too many pigeons (more so in the stock loft than anywhere)
The numbers i have listed are what i think i can manage with outside influences away from the birds.
Thought about this year racing cocks, hen and obviously youngsters - to do this properly i think i need about 5 hours a day to get all the birds out - It simply isnt possible.
Keep having it drummed into me that no back garden loft should really need more than 6 pairs of prisoners - starting to agree with it as how many of us keep stock birds and never test them properly.
