I was on the phone to Vince Hendry earlier John and he told me about Wullie Kane (1 of the Kane bros from Hamilton) his next door neighbour at the time in the 50's Wullie got a doo from the Lanarkshire fed Guernsey race in the 50's at 5.30 on the 2nd morning and was still in bed and Vince's mother was up and seen the blue grizzle on the landing board and went and chapped Wullie up out his bed to time the doo in and top the fed. Wullie got another doo at 8am to be 3rd fed ...Happy days
