THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I THINK I MADE THIS SEASON WAS TRAINING THE DOOS I GOT BACK FROM REIMS TOO MUCH BEFORE SENDING THEM BACK INTO CLERMONT AGAIN BUT I'LL NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN IF I STILL HAVE THE SAME BIRDS LEFT AT THE END OF THIS SEASON

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ADD THAT DOVESCOT(DUNCAN) BROUGHT HALF A LOFT THROUGH TO LANARKSHIRE FOR ME A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND I AM REALLY GRATEFUL TO HIM FOR HELPING ME OUT AS HE WOULD'NT TAKE A PENNY OFF ME BUT IF HE EVER NEEDS A HAND AND I CAN HELP HE HAS MY PHONE NUMBER AND ONLY HAS TO ASK AND IF I CAN HELP I WILL

I USED TO THINK ME AND TAM WERE PALS AND WHEN I WENT TO GET FEEDING FROM CARLUKE I USED TO DETOUR 2 OR 3 MILES OUT MY WAY EVERY OTHER SUNDAY TO PICK HIM UP AND I ALSO PICKED HIM UP FROM GLASGOW CENTRAL TRAIN STATION 1 NIGHT TAE AFTER I FINISHED WORK AND NEVER ASKED FOR A THING BECAUSE THATS THE WAY I AM WITH MY PALS BUT AFTER I PUT A POST UP ABOUT SOMETHING FOR WORMING MY PIGEONS I GOT A PM AFF TAM SAYING HE HAD THE STUFF I WAS LOOKING FOR AND AFTER HE GIVING ME HALF THE BOTTLE HE SAID HAD COST HIM £18 HE WAS LOOKING FOR HALF THE MONEY OFF ME FOR IT THAT WAS THE END OF OUR SO CALLED FREINDSHIP I WILL LOOK AFTER ALL MY PALS AND DO ANYTHING FOR THEM BUT I THOUGHT THAT WAS TAKING THE P***!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN GIVEN PIGEONS FROM SOME PEOPLE ON HERE AND I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR THEM AND I WOULD DO ALL I COULD TO HELP THEM IF THEY ASKED AND WOULD NEVER ASK FOR A PENNY OFF ANY OF THEM....

This is the least amount of pigeons i have ever had going into an old bird season so i'll see how it goes

Mine huvnae been cleaned oot in over a month now mostly due to me breaking my wrist and i know what you are saying about the sh** pyrimads Jim as they are creeping nearer and nearer the bottom perches but the ddos are shining Before i went on holiday i put my hens in the end section of the y/b loft which has a wire cabey door on the front of it so i nailed the door shut put a full size sheet of perspex up in front of it to keep the snow and rain out but leaves at least a 10in gap for frash air to get in and all is well in there even if it is bloody cauld in it every day! My 24ft old bird race loft is empty so sometime this week i will transfer them all over into it if we get a thaw i have 2 y/b's in the stock loft nearly ready to come oot the nest tae hatched 2nd december from a pair of eggs i missed!! but both y/b's look fine and i have rung them with old rings just to see how they go and the loft they are in husnae been cleaned oot this year i leave them in peace in the stock loft and disturb them as little as possible but they get plenty of grub and fresh water thats all they need
