Commercialism tends to be at the expense of quality not saying all birds are bad but the number of birds from the continent and the UK By the law of averages there "should" be a few good ones. On reading the postings from our members the quality of some of the birds at Blackpool seems to have been a bit suspect, dead birds, sick birds and generally poor quality in some cases. The auction sites post birds from famous lofts but on checking they have been brought in from other sources this in my humble opinion is just "PURE COMMERCIALISM" at the expense of the fancier (if you rise to the bait), ie famous name
