  4. quite right gentleman...I seem to have got confused with his SVR 88 pair that I am selling also......these birds are a mixture of belgium birds and national winners certianly the 'names' on the pedigrees are 'as was' I understand that these birds are simly 'kirklands'! Should anyone wish to talk to the vendor directly, please pm me and I can pass on the detials....sorry about the confusion regards TWRM

  7. Relisted due to Time wasters - and on behalf of Mr. P. Walsh.............. a pair of Geof Kirklands Stav van Reets with original pegidree papers. These were bought last year as stock. Mr. Walsh packed up racing, and bred lightly out of the birds and sold the progency on.. cock b/b 01E61414 - G-Sire son of The Pest along with Blue Panda and various 1st. national winners Hen D/C 02W78668 - G -Dam sister to Tony's boy along with numerous 1st national winners. I can arrange for the papers to be viewed if need be. £170 for the pair.............seller to pay for AMTRAK These are a matched pair direct from GK, and are suberb in every way .....................class pigeons serious enquiries only please Regards TWRM
  8. Please note that the seller has decided to reduce the sale price of the Geof Kikland Van Reets (with original pedigrees from GK) to £100 per bird plus carriage for a quick sale...these can be split if need be. This is an exceptional opportunity to buy this superb stock with original pedigree papers from Geof Kikland (out of 'The Pest' lines) I can advice that Mr Walsh paid £300.00 per bird, and has only bred lightly out these, which have subsequently been sold on Should anyone wish to see a copy of the pedigrees, please pm me and I can fax a copy through.......likewise should anywish to talk to the seller directly...then please pm me and I can pass on the relevant details. Many Thanks TWRM

  13. Does anyone use it?..........................I am told it can offer a good 'sexual boost' pre- pairng???? sensible answers only please and no.....................it dosn't taste very nice :X :X :X
  14. ................could be used as a dropper
  15. I understand this lady is trying to set a dove release company up
  16. I would appreciate it if this thread didnt turn into an 'eye sign' debate.......however the views are noted...and gratefully recieved.
  17. I have a succesfull dove release company and have a on occasions have used darden dove / white homer hybrids for multiple bird releases........I have had these come home from 40 plus miles with no problem at all......they get trained in the same way...but are just a tad slower..........I wouldnt imagine you average garden fantail would go much further than a couple of miles
  18. ................what about the fish eye (red with purple ring) to wild eye (red with bright yellow ring).................. I have not studied eyesign....but I have been told that this is a good match.......I cannot prove nor disprove it..............niether do I know the reason behind it......
  19. they were on last week I think for £500 ono quite cheap...................if your got a spare monkey
  20. Out of interest, what influences your pairings for breeding. (in particluar when breeding a YB team) I know some breed eye to eye....colour to colour.......or general intuition. I would be interested in hearing your various views on this.....and the reasons beind those influences....... thanks TWRM
  21. some lovely conditione birds there..............I particularly like the Blue bar 'heavily wattled' cock...........................looks identicale to a 10 year old Van Loon cock I have in my stock loft nice site
  22. Pure white racing pigoerns are extremely difficult to get hold of........I currently have around 25 breeding pairs that has taken me several years to obtain the best stock and breed my self a team.....................personally....I'll be honest..............I dont sell many at all......and those that keep them tend not to either......Beware....there are plenty of bandits out there that will sell you rubbish.......especially if you are a new - comer................I hear on one guy who folked out £45 per birds.....only when he recieved them..they were nothing but cheap shortailed garden doves!!!! BE CAUTIOUS
  23. which wormer & cocci treatment would you recommend please? do not seemt o have a great deal of choice locally and wondered what effective and 'economic' treatments you use thanks TWRM
  24. aaaarrrggghhhh now I see!!!!. to add a further twist to the tale, I am 99% sure he appraached me to by white rapidos for his younger brother who was getting into pigeons.......I told him I didn't sell my white homers, but I did have some garden dove x white homer hybrids,..... . he wanted to buy the lot...................I didnt sell him any in the end.......looks like he was trying to play a crafty all along!.....as the whites are very marketable..... Hope you get your dollars back.......................... While we are on it I get sick of people pm'ing posing as 'young' fanciers trying to cadge my whites for next to nothing........ Luckily I'm no fool...and smell this 'old chestnut'........... a mile off :-/
