My doo,s are well schooled in basket and as soon as the baskets are full at Airdrie we give them water and it's incredible how many stick the head out .and mine on arrival ( not that I got many home lol) mostly went for a drink first .

I got caught Walter have lost 10 nice hens but my problem is if they missed this week next week is an even bigger jump as it was their first race of season just my luck or misjudgment that the east wind was so strong , At this minute I have 4 Ayrshire doo,s all claimed an AD bird and 2 pentland birds in my loft that tells you what kind of day it was .

11/22 although it was their first race of season for my hens still shell shocked that 8/11 missing raced as ybs and I have birds home that have had 2 tosses from 25 mls and they make it ? My time does not concern me yet lol but but must take my hat off to Paul and Wullie Macaloney they are a class act .

9/22 from sedgefield 9 birds away for first ever race 130 mls 6 home 4 of them late breds ? No hiding here . Gutted ain't the word .it was the first race of season for all my birds .

That's how all Feds should be reported with info about the birds and fanciers , well done good report .

Still 23/26 two of them were very nice doo,s and were earmarked for the channel but as the brother say if my 10 late breds can get home so should the rest .

Not a comment aimed at you personally and never said the macs sent 100 it was a comparison of choice and the macs have very good record at 500 ml winning one nat and 2 gold awards , but just making a point ! You still have to condition the birds to win the races .

As Eddie Newcombe proved when Snfc put 12 bird limit he still won and lifted a load of cash . Mark has sent 100 birds and won with his pooler and got slated so he sends 1 and wins national and still gets slated . Who decide,s how many you send to a race , you , who decides how many the macs send , the macs , we all have the choice but if you think someone wins 3 international races by being a mob flyer that is what is wrong in our hobby , jealous . Jmo

It is first time I have spoke to him mate and will not lie I was a bit nervous to speak to him but he is such a nice guy , I have bought a few from mark and this one I have coming he was glad to advise me on a new cross that go really well with the southfield supreme birds I have . And think he was indeed 123 open .

Spoke to mark today and think he said he was 123 fed as well not sure of open but think he is going to have a good season as birds are in top nik , No matter how many birds he sends he is one of the best out there and an absolute gent .

Breed n wean on a Sunday peanuts on return from race .

My last doo home today had hit some sh** weather as his wattle was red raw and had tried bloody hard to get home .

Not all the fed had a great race George as always not everyone tell the whole story in my opinion as a lot of birds had to come back from the east later in the day and my club Airdrie had a lot of birds missing early afternoon , I would think a lot made home later but from 80 ml 6/8 hours on wing is not a great race , jmo .

Have 23/26 and if I was to pick three birds for the future they were them that are missing lol , same as last year my channel picks not making it ,yet .

Have 20/27 from Otterburn got 3 together all late and late breds lol.

That's good birdage approx 50 per loft ,

Approx 500 from Airdrie to Otterburn 27 from my loft .

Think mine were Del lol

His last nest was on floor almost a foot tall then it toppled , he,s on open hole /bowl so not supplied with material.
