There are lots of great fanciers with great doo,s some don,t get the credit where due George vietch who won gold cup also timed in 2 other nats Andy miller nearly winning another nat ,John bird prestonpans fantastic pigeon man 2nd open there are loads and we should salute them all because I for one want some of that . Well done all .

One of best fanciers in Scotland , well done

For years we went in wicker baskets in old bone shaker lorries and had fantastic racing but agree about the drinkers . The last 2/3 races for Lanarkshire have been bad races with many losses so it has nothing to do with the transport but as I say agree the drinkers are not suitable .

Anyone time their chosen bird in ?

It was indeed a very bad race for most and I don,t blame anyone for it , what makes it worse is these birds were the best of the best distance pigeons some have flown 1000,s of miles in their short life time so that tells me it was more than just human error jmo.

Nothing here this morning was hoping for some success before I take a rest from what has been in my blood since childhood but time to move on . Nobody's fault the weather yesterday was mental and some birds made the wrong choice .Very well done to all that timed in .
