my mate from gateshead tells me there's a bird in tynemouth this morning, supposed to be winning the unc, there's a couple back in wda.

just had my last one from yesterday return(she had my heart going for a minute, waiting for the tarbes birds as well) had my best racing hen back 9-50 last night, hawk have had her,about 3/4 cuts over her body and i had to put 6 stitches in a hole in her crop.

any birds home yet? what time you expecting them?.

yes, it was super ben of robert ben calais. as mentioned above .i think it worked out at about £150,000. got the story here in a pictorial, knock on the door one day guy standing there with a suitcase full of money, robert tells him no and sends him on his way, his kids manage to change his mind and go after the bloke, the rest is history as they say.

they did have a problem but it's been sorted now, but defra as told them they can't put the birds out for 2 months after the virus as gone, how it's gonna affect the birds i don't know. i got 2 there.

touch wood, i've never had a problem with birds from them but i have'nt had yb's from since 2004. but i know a member of my club who bought 2 from there this year(the only 2 young birds he brought in) and he started having problems as soon as they arrived.

as long as i get a go in that porsche i'll be happy.lol

i'll let you know closer to the weekend as i've birds away at tarbes and they're due to be libbed friday,but there's a rain forecast for tarbes, so i'm not sure when they'll be up.
