  1. i tried a kit of jos thones, they were alright took a few prizes . i think most of em made it to the yearling stage. 1 of them is the sire to a hen that won bergerac for me last season.
  2. hi stuart, so long as they win i dont think it matter's what the eye's are like. if seen films with all of van geels pigeons and they had all types of eye's.
  3. england 31 for 2

i'd like to see everton win, about 8 - 0 would be nice.
  7. i know there's a thread somewere but i did'nt know were to look, so i thought i'd post another. channel 5 7-30 tonight .
  8. i also disagree about the feds part, most feds are just corridor flying all to one area, the bicc+bbc have birds from all over the uk and i think most of the people who have a go would like to see more fancier's taking part. i do wish there was more marking stations . but even the national flying club have no marking stations in wales . i also think the birds that fly in these nationals/internationals are generally a more reliable bird .
  9. i think we'll have over a thousand birds from the uk this year, so it may help em break at the right time. we need a good southerly swinging to southeast at the home end.
  10. i'd be happy just to clock in race time. in my dreams i win it.lol
  11. hi albear, i agree the more the merrier. this year we're going to have a go. that hen and a cock to go with her. this is the cock,he's won from tarbes last year,he's half arden.
  12. 56th sect,214th open. she was out of race time(a few days) but got a diploma. i had only had pigeons 3 years when i sent here and had never send to a race over 420 mls before, so get 1 from over 750 mls made me happy. i think i know a little bit more now in regards to racing,so next year i'm sending her to barcelona.
  13. hi youngzimmy, i fly em seperated as old birds, i would have thought that's less taxing on the birds as they're not having to lay or raise young while they're racing. i don't give any antibiotics, young birds are flown natural and only sent when in good feather and it costs me a lot more to fly/feed than what i win. i'm competative racing them and always have their best interests in mind.
  14. what's the cock andrew?
  15. i've not heared of them either, i've got a couple of editions of the history of the belgian strains, i had a look through the index's but nothing that sounds similar.
  16. we start on roundabout and let them pair for the longest races, although i am considering leaving them seperate this season.
