-
hi john, it's a harris hawk. he told me, if i get rid of the loft by the house(in all fairness it's only about 5ft from is house) he'll put it away on race days. so i got to keep the peace.
-
i've asked to join the seller's part , i have'nt been told i can, so i won't jump the gun. thanks
-
none have been bred off this year either, i have'nt paired up yet.
-
to show i'm not trying to rip anyone off, i will let you have them on loan first and if you don't want them/ no good i'll take em back. i can't get any fairer than that.
-
hi lenwadebob, with also losing my job, which was one of the best payer's in the area, i think it's best just to stick with what i got left. if i left em in some body else's garden they be swapping the eggs.lol
-
hi guys, the guy next door to me(the one with the hawk) as made a complaint because one of my stock sheds is to close to the house, to stop the arguing and to stop him from putting the hawk out in the garden on race days(i could only send to 1 young bird race last season because of this) i have agreed to move the birds from there, but i've nowhere else to put them and have lost my job recently, so i would like to sell them on here. i am willing to give 15% of what they make to the site, to do with what ever they wish. the birds will consist of 5 pairs and 4 hens, all bar 1 will have a pedigree. i was thinking of a auction running for a week. what are your views on this. thanks yours in sport adrian boulter. ps. some are proven breeders but a lot a new birds i bought last year.

i origanally voted for the 450 to get more people involved, but i would favour the over 500 mls event. my choice is going to be bergerac 514 mls. and i won it with a yearling last year.
-
i've seen the smell thing mentioned, and i've also seen things about other animals seeing things in diffrent colours, but not the colours changing as they're moving along. the pigeons have excellent eyesight(much better than ours) but they must see the things in same amount of detail as we do, they instantly recon. diffrent types of corn/grit/birds . which to me say's everything they see is crystal clear, and in hi-defanition. we can all be scientists of a sort. very interesting subject.
-
is that serious? looks crap, why's the sky changing colour and why's all the cloud highlighted?. i think somebody's put that on for a laugh. i can't believe they see things like that, how are they able to pick out certain seeds from thousands of other's in that mode, everything would be a blur .
-
i'm thinking about it wayne, should be plenty of quality for the distance.
-
it's the same pattern every time, so you start to remember which way to go.
-
21.912 is my best so far had about 7/8 goes also had 18.607 .
-
all my yearlings are flown roundabout, when it's time to part them any that have not had young, go without . it does'nt seem to bother them. last season i had yearlings win that had raised young and other's win who had'nt.

thunderboult replied to OLDYELLOW's topic in Notice Board
my clubs 2 longest races last season(which i think will be the same this season) is bergerac 514mls+tarbes613mls(i won't be sending yearlings here). i will also have bordeaux493mls with the bbc .
