  2. I was getting loads in the loft a few weeks back.Hung up some pine cones about the place and sprayed some stuff with eucalyptus oil in it onto the walls,roof etc. apparently they don't like the stuff and sure enough they did clear out quickly.

  21. I can only read and listen to folk talk about these old fanciers but I don't think the likes of yer Jock Allans,Jake Burrells etc. had a record that's even close to Jim's.

  23. Nor do I Geo. This isn't what Ricky said,but I think it's time we should be discrediting the fancy for continuously allowing this kind of thing to happen. I for one am discrediting myself very much for sending three of my favourite pigeons to a distance and in weather conditions that we all knew fair well there was probably a 1 in 5 chance of ever seeing them again. If this is the future of long distance racing into Scotland, I doubt I'll be a part of it much longer.
