  14. Hard yin here Managed tae fluke a 1st in the club, but my returns are the worst I've had from a yb race since I've had the doos-sitting with 36/56 at the moment. Don't know if it's bad preparation or bad luck, but I do know I've a sare heed and willnae speak tae anybody til aboot Wednesday

  18. Good old result this - 40 years ago this weekend. One of the best Scottish National Winners ever, if not thee best. History maker, record breaker - Walter Masson's '5 O'Clock Rock' Thanks to Mossgiel for sending me the result, some great names on that one.

  21. Think it's the appearance of the pine cones they don't like more than a scent or that-resembles their predator's nests. You could get it from the chemist and dilute it or there are some loft sprays that have it in them. The stock nutrition Bio Air is good. I used to use it when I first started with the birds but hadn't seen it around for a while, managed to get a couple of bottles at Blackpool this year though. Carr's make one called enviromenth, that's £8.50 I won't get back
