  10. As stated before, feel the YB National should be flown from around Selby 185miles mark into central belt and have it the week after the last Federation race rather than that week gap. I think the first National should be dropped .

  13. Unlucky Martin & Spike just beaten ,the fella Larkin had a cracking race.( That could be you next week) How were the returns? Tom
  14. I personally don't wish to get caught up in the politics of East or West , personally i have never experienced YB losses as we have had the last few years flying in the Lanarkshire down the East route and previously with the Midland down the traditional route. I will go with the majority vote of the Lanarkshire federation meeting. So far this season started with 14 old bird racers racing to Eastbourne 9 left , of which 6 have returned with injuries . Tom Corrie jnr
  15. Good to hear that John, tell your Dad I was asking for him.
  16. Brilliant race for Eadie & Kelly ,one of the best team performances this year from this top loft .

  19. Well done oldyellow , its all in the breeding , and looking at how your birds are reared it doesn't surprise me
  20. What velocity , i will say 1066
  21. Well done martin and Spike , good to see you up with winners. Mick will be round looking for tips.
  22. I personally think the Young Bird National should be from 170miles into the central belt area and should be the week after most Federation last race not two weeks.National shouldn't always be about distance as most Federations only fly to about 160miles and the jump is too much and discourages most to go. The distance would encourage more fanciers to attend and give the birds a chance to home better. People may say that the border birds would only be flying 100miles but again you are looking after the welfare of the birds.
  23. Empathy to those who are awaiting their loft best to return ,these birds are very hard to replace.
  24. Yes Jimmy these two lofts have been excellent taking plenty of fed tickets.
