M ring is the Midland federation , George Truesdale is the fed secretary

The Chapelhall van used to use before releasing the birds from there training flights with great effect. Possible we should release before each liberation? Would possible prevent initial attack. Got to try something to protect the pigeons.

Longtown 1 Y/B race 28/7/12, 10 members sent 82 birds, lib 11 45 in a WSW wind. 1st , 2nd , 3rd, 5th T Corrie ,Son ,G/son .vel 949 4th G Geddes 6th G Geddes Well done to Dorothy Muir who in her first race got her two pigeons home and in the money. Race again was very erratic with large numbers of birds missing.
