Have no doubts you are 100% right about that. A went tae see a man who DOES something about it when his doos take anything. He got YBS about 6 yrs ago for the first time. He drove through the night to catch Gary Spavin (spelling?) and his doos were bang on after 3 days. He had lost around 40 with it but the 20 or so he had left went on to score in the SNFC races, WELL IN tae.

I think aw birds are protected so you'll need a very god reason for wanting wan IF they exist. Would maybe find reference tae it on a Legal website or via .gov.uk site.

It's only an experiment Jim. If anyone wants to trial it am happy tae get involved. There MUST be an answer tae it somewhere but everybody who gets it either treat it differently or not at all. A widnae advise killing any bird Jim, well within reason !! Am trying tae build a picture of this tae see if there is a pattern to it. As an experiment I would like to give 4-6 Ybs tae a loft that is guaranteed tae have it and see if it affects mine the same as the home bred birds. Obviously I believe mine widnae take it and for the Hundreds of Ybs I have parted with I've never had it reported back that they went down ill or pass anything onto the others in the loft. Actually I had one guy say it but I never believed a word he said coz he made the claim tae cover up something else.

Again the issue here is none of us know What they are giving their birds ! and we certainly don't know if these drugs/chemicals stay in the birds system from one week to the next. One of the biggest issues I have way this is there are too many "vets" & "pharmacists" among us who will swear on their wean's life they know exactly what they're treating and giving their doos so ppl believe them. For me if ye haven't got the letters after yer name ye know Nae mare than me about it, and that's dangerous for everybody's birds IMO.

Ye might just have hit on something there, bound to be funding for research purposes. Anybody an expert on it ?? Aye they've got the cash tae fund it anaw, but me thinks they wid chase us 😡
