These Doos of George's bred umpteen winners for other fanciers across Scotland, in fact i THINK more National WINNERS have been bred from these birds than any other in the country, though its a while now since that was a fact, maybe John Hodgson will hold that distinction these days.

I believe either the sire or dam was a Van Hee X Sticlebaut from George Brownlee of Carluke, but i'm not sure Both parents were of this breeding.

Louella bought Fallahill Superstar who was a Van Hee if memory serves me correct. I agree with you wes, Eddie is a true gentleman and very knowledgeable pigeon man.

The majority vote isnae always my own idea of how things should be but i accept it, if we all start on about resigning or starting up other organisations because the vote goes against us we are Doomed as a sport, and that would be SHAME on us all. I always thought ye were a bit mad anyway

If everyone accepts the result of the voting on a race program with GOOD GRACE, then we can all concentrate on preparing our doos for the tasks ahead, that is after all why we Vote in the first place. Like EVERY body else i have my opinions but Unlike some i will accept the result, get my head down and get on with it, just like i have done for YEARS now.

I can relate directly to bibendum's pain having lost my own father at just 63, but cannot even imagine the pain you must feel having buried your daughter, God Rest Her and give you strength.

I heard there were vendors dropping they're prices just to get a bid on their birds, no surprised right enough considering the state of some of them

Lenwadebob, Anto, Micko, Dublin lofts, Sapper, Fifer, Bigblue, Yeboah Charlie Smillie, Clarke Smith John Bell (WHO WON SUPREME CHAMPION & BEST OPPOSITE SEX) and some Lanarkshire men. Canny say i enjoyed the show much but i think that was down to drinking on an empty head Thursday night and feeling Cr*p all day Friday. Couldnae get up the road early enough today.

The standard of doos on sale was Very Poor, the condition of some was a disgrace as well. I would have to compliment Ian Axe though as his doos were in great condition again. There were a few others who's doos were not bad at all but the vast majority shouldn't have been offered for sale they were so poor. Mind you there were eejits buying them so its hard to criticise the vendors!!

I played with a guy called Drew McCallum when i was in my teens. He scored a HAT TRICK from corners one day, nobody watchin the game could believe their eyes. The wind was blowing like hell and he used that to his advantage but it was still some achievement for a young lad.
