    Grundy Bins

I've got one of they bins.
  8. I fancy Fulham to turn Chelsea over tonight, just by the Odd goal but think they can nonetheless. Or maybe its the Man Utd fan in me that thinks that
  9. They'll get a right Dissy if they go shopping on ma cards
  10. I paired up tonight. Depending on how they are racing i will maybe split them for a month during the season. Other than that its Au Naturale for me this season
  11. As a rule i send my yearlings to the south coast, approx 360mls to me and send 2yo+ across the channel. If i have a yearling that is in great form and racing every week i will send it across to the Fed Open channel race, recently its been Ypres which is 443 to me but i scored well with a yearling from Falaise not so long ago which is 507mls to me. Mind you i've dropped more yearlings than i have scored with from across the water!!!
  12. I was writing about the HFH sales
  13. Yearlings make this time of year a nightmare in the loft!!
  14. 4 i'm sure, next one is the last.
  15. Seen your bid, there is another one in the next sale from my best stock Ck. G/Sire to the one today.
  16. Lot, 6. £100 and Lot, 37. £310. It was a great sale making just over £8,000.
  17. Paired my doos up tonight, will see if they have all taken to one another by the morning, if not i will make a change or 2, most seemed to be getting on well though.
  18. I was just getting into my stride and the next thing i knew i was in the hoose, don't mind how i got there but was apparently in great form on the way home.
  19. Cheers Frank, i'm sure he will mature into a nice Ck for next year. Maybe get 1 or 2 summer bred from him this year, all being well i'll pair him to my good hen for them.
  20. Aye i had the Cammy jacket, ma wee pup ripped the leg of ma trousers as i was leaving for the sale, so i had to put ma Wellies on tae cover the rip!!
  21. I went in the hope that the L/B out of the 2010 Gold Cup winner (John Duthie's Ck) and Jim's top hen "Ref C" wouldn't be out of my price range, glad to say i was able to get it I counted the Average price per bird to be £201.87 which i think, reflects the quality of birds on sale.
  22. Motivation is the only way a bird will break out of a batch and fly on its own. As stated previously doos fly in batches naturally, so you have to get them to behave UN-natural if you know what i mean, and only providing the bird with greater motivation to get home at all costs will get it to break away on its own. I don't believe flying on their own can be trained into them, jmo.
  23. I think tomorrow we will see some of the best long distance birds to be sold in Scotland, i also think the prices will be too rich for most guys but clubbing in with yer mate for the ones you like could be an option, if its doos for stock you are buying
  24. I have it on very good authority that 80% of North Lanarkshire Council's blue bin contents are sent straight to landfill sites because they don't have the facilities to process it. It'll be the same everywhere
