  1. D Watson & Dgtr 17.18 with the hen i bred them that toped the Fed from Peterborough last season, the one that featured on the front page of the BHW a few weeks back
  2. Good going lads, squeaky bum time now up here
  3. Was expecting doos into the south about now.
  4. Ta George i'll give them a bell.
  5. This Young bird just dropped in to me, SU 11 R 1654, Exhausted and skinny but should make a decent recovery. Phone....... 07752220135 or Reply on here and i'll get it later today or tomorrow morning.
  6. Yer a rare species Tam as far as 2008 goes, having a great season but someone will get the results no matter where we race from, it just wisnae me (or loads of others) on the West route.
  7. I can see where the idea is coming from and it has some merit but i'm the type who is either in or out and think everyone should join for the year. Its no exactly fair on men who pay up front to be beaten by a fancier who joins for one race because he has something jumping out of its skin and would otherwise not be entered, just disnae sit well with me but if the Majority vote it in i'd go along with it, as i would any other majority decision. ATB. John.
  8. Would have to side with Alex on this one Gareth, lost my good Ck Told You So, then a week later a hen i named Hel's Bells, the best 2 pigeons in my loft with Multiple top Fed positions between them out to Falaise, lost from under 300mls along with a lot of other birds of mine that season.
  9. Well there you are Ian, your more informed than me, as i know nowt about any enquiry
  10. I seen that suggested but I canny agree with pay per race, the club needs to know how many members need to be catered for at the start of the year, for amongst other things how many year books to order or other administrative costs/needs for the season ahead. Can anyone see there own club being able to function Effectively if the members only paid for races entered? I canny see how it would be sustainable at any level.
  11. I Verified John Lawrie & Son's Eastbourne doo last week, he has his doos on Best All Round George

    Ypres 2011

After all the huffin and puffin i'm sending 8 to Ypres, any 1 or 2 from my 4 fancied could make the result, the other 4 are homers so far but haven't been the distance yet so could surprise me
  13. I've sent a total of 12 pigeons with the SNFC so far this season, i've lost 5 of them. 3/6 Marlborough, 5/6 Eastbourne and 0/1 from Messac.
  14. Its not What feeding that counts but What your feeding it too!! But for the record mine are on 50% Concorde 50% Super Young bird.
  15. I suggest that in future you refrain from using the term Management and Name exactly who you are referring to, instead of making out that the management committee en-mass are involved in some sort of conspiracy to keep the members in the dark about race outcomes, i would NOT be party to anything of the sort.
  16. I was on the management committee last year and can assure you of 2 things. Firstly, i am made no more wiser than you and have no more information than you on ANY race good or bad!!!! Secondly, i Don't do Party Line, i say it as i see it or as i know it to be, like it or lump it. So your post is out of order and you aught to give more credit to men who are doing a job 99% of the members wouldn't do.

    Ypres 2011

Well i'm in the middle of a bad toss right now, only 6 home fae 10 sent so i doubt i will be going to Tours as that is one of them still to come!! So looks like i will now only send 4 to Ypres, MAYBE 5.
  18. Klitschko has the same chance of beating Haye that Frank Bruno had against Tyson, LITTLE TO NONE. Haye to win by KO in round 2 or 3.
  19. Had the pleasure if visiting Davy last season to verify a pigeon, he is a great stockman and racer, 1ST OPEN SNFC GOLD CUP must still be sinking in, congratulations.

    Ypres 2011

Having a final spin on the training van tomorrow and will decide when they come home which will be going to Ypres and whether i will send a 2yr old Ck to Tours or not. All depends on how they look on arrival fae Dunbar. All going well i will send 6 to Ypres and 1 to Tours
  21. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO REMIND EVERYONE THAT IT IS YOUR CLUB, IT IS YOU WHO MAKE THE RULES AND IT IS YOU WHO DECIDE WHERE WE FLY FROM EACH YEAR. THE CONTINUOUS REFERENCE TO "THEY" WOULD SUGGEST YOU'S (SNFC MEMBERS) DON'T SEE YOURSELVES AS EITHER PART OF THE PROBLEM OR PART OF A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEMS WHEN IN FACT YOU ARE ALL EQUALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RUNNING OF THE CLUB AND HAVE IT IN YOUR POWERS TO DO AS THE MAJORITY WISH, SO MY SUGGESTION ONCE AGAIN IS GET PROPOSALS INTO THE AGM AND THE MEMBERS PRESENT WILL EITHER AGREE OR DISAGREE WITH YOU. THAT INCLUDES POSTAL VOTING TO GIVE EVERY MEMBER AN OPPORTUNITY TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DECISION MAKING WITHIN THE CLUB. GET THE PROPOSALS IN, YOU CAN PROPOSE WHATEVER YOU LIKE OR WHATEVER YOU FEEL WOULD IMPROVE THINGS FOR THE CLUB. ALL THE IDEA'S ON HERE MEAN NOTHING UNLESS THEY ARE PUT FORWARD AT THE AGM. SIMPLES!!!!
  22. expletive remove Thats worse than my first toss this season when my old birds were attacked by percy x 2, about 30 seconds after i liberated them. Hope they start tumbling in for you Graham atb.
  23. I hope he gets a cracking time from Ypres, right behind me, and tops the Fed averages. I know Aldo has no expectations of doing it and that makes it even better for him.
  24. Well explain how the snrpc had a great race from Reims while we have taken a hiding from Messac?? It was a ridiculous decision to go to Messac and makes a mockery of the council who debated every possible race point for the GOLD CUP and Messac was first out the window because of its position compared to the rest of the program.
