I contacted the BICC and the BBC 2yrs ago when there was word of a marking station at Carlisle but as they had no one to run the station it was shelved.I contacted John Hodgson who said he had just started a marathon family and although he had heard of interest locally he had no intention of sending at that time.I was quite willing to pick up all Scottish birds at that time.Since then interest has grown in Ireland and I can understand the feeling of having a Barcelona bird in the loft.
