  1. Are the lorries not in line and each goes at intervals and if so are shutters or blinds closed on others ? Sure the section that billy bilsland races in goes first furthest distance etc Please correct me if I'm wrong Atb mick
  2. Would agree with your comments but the UNC Birds have done this for years all the lorries with separate libs ?
  3. Can only comment on the Rennes gold cup race of 1976 Won by the late Joe Murray of Ecclefechan Heatwave no wind birds tumbled into all sections South East and west taking first three in open my birds landed as if they had just flown 10 miles as fresh as paint On a plus side nowadays Falcons hate hunting in extreme heat off the day if possible lying sunning themselves instead

  15. Would agree on that one First encountered salmonella paratyphus many years ago very good stock birds that I had brought in suddenly had swollen wings and some could not get of the floor ,I blamed everything when in fact I was the cause of the whole problem . I had stored a pallet of feeding in my workshop / warehouse with all ok well so I thought until I got near the bottom of the pallet Mice had destroyed it ,There was the answer ,yes treat with baytril etc but they are never right Disposed of all the birds showing symptoms then raced all the young of the remaining hard over two seasons the nests that did not produce birds were also eliminated have to be honest was just left with a select few . Without a doubt in my mind pigeon lofts and food stores that have mice problems will never be successful Good luck sadly there is no fast tract cure Ps all my feeding is now kept in the spare bedroom

  21. Had Osprey here for few years now Stuart ,this one is Brown I was even thinking along the lines of a young Eagle ?
  22. Certainly got it all here Walter The Badger that made its residence under my loft has appeared back in the neighbours Garden We also have a very large hawk which I cannot identify ,Have spoken to the Hawk Lads and they can't give me an answer either
  23. My national hens have been out exercised ,enjoyed their bath and sunning themselves on the loft roof seen them look skywards as we speak and there thousands of feet above is the hen peregrine commanding more than 10 square miles below her watching her through binoculars As you rightly say we have absolutely no chance I just motivate the birds now suicide training it screws their heads for racing Good luck with returns Lads
