  6. Well Done to the band of players who never thought about being of on holiday or pulling out with so called injuries if we had been sitting with a chance of qualifying the so called big names would have been lining up sure Mr Strachan will have taken note ,Should have known the Scots would be a threat when the odds are stacked against us seems some things never change Remember Bannockburn :scotland: .

You can buy a spray form of permethrin from the vet take the birds out of the loft for stated time as per instructions spray as advised everything that crawls etc Dead .
  11. So very true i am getting stray birds in by the basket full every weekend nothing wrong with there health well most of them some not fit to be sent to a race in the first place but the ok one's are being knocked out of the sky, they are every few miles now, working north of beattock last couple of days doing roofwork with mechanical hoist just across from quarry and have been watching the falcons birds have no chance .
  12. Barring mishaps round the loft as the sky's are pretty dangerous now eggs have hatched i will be sending 2 cocks 1 a 4yo that needs to wise up the other a late bred 2yo that i think will win the race going with my life savings on his back

    K.index

I 'm no into this K index theory ,But do no that i used to breed 30 yb race them and be left with say 24 Now i'm sure this space thing has been going on millions of years so they say but the peregrine problem has not ,all nest sites are well hatched now ,example when the convoy of the solway arrive into the gretna area on race days my birds have 30 mls to fly north from leaving gretna i know of nine nest sites that they must pass to get home now thats a possible nine strikes from 30mls before that they have to face the shap fells and cumbria ,Now just picture a race from 300 mls if they face the same ration of nest sites Thats a possible 90 Strikes Frightening ain't it but fact The bigger the convoy the bigger and easier the target hence the erratic racing ,A Falcon now feeding 3 - 4 young must make many kills per day including saturdays .
