  7. Very very true Ricky ,no such thing as good race from France now ,messac 2years ago think only 40ish birds into Scotland in 3 days ,Tours last year only 8 birds on result after 3 days ,Top man in our fed had his best 8 at alencon got one that sums up pigeon racing nowadays if the inlands are scrubbed there won't be any doos left in 3 years with those losses have to face the stark facts the glory days are long gone ,I have lost more young birds training the last week than I used to breed in 3 years and it will only get Worse ,There are national winners etc being lost at these races if you had a good one years ago you had it for life jmho

We have no choice where we live a hawk free strike is not an option, I am 20 missing from first group this morning 3singles in last half hour 2missing part wings the other it's tail the majority of the others will be grounded and will work in the next 24hrs . That is why we give them a light feed and water before training sending them hungry is not an option in Moffat That's another this one's intact

Feel for you Walter ,we are having our birds murdered daily I have witnessed what you described and am certain your birds were targeted yesterday with a family of falcons when your birds turn up give them rest and let them settle as they are truly stressed at present ,I have had 3 return tonight from yesterday's strike one with horrendous injuries all have been to ground 30hrs after being liberated from10mls However every dog has his day
  24. Had them at same 10mls spot where they started yesterday both batches home now starting to hold a line .
  25. Pleased to have met you how did the training go from Moffat I ended up with 100% tonight and two back from this morning one injured
