i thought they had sold up , but to get over 100 pigeons and get away with it there security cant of been up to much , i do feel for the guys that this has happened to them , i dont suppose they'll get caught theres far too much of this happening these days
  5. I have to agree as long as not damp and no mould and birds are limited to exposure of droppings there immunity improves , however during racing i wouldnt advocate this as birds wil get contaminated from cross infections in the basket and also stress causes canker
  6. was thinking same looks damp and too open a recipe for diseases
  7. i should get 500 + miles out of the Tournier when crossed then hopefully ill cross with the Van Loon crossed line
  8. very smart Kev
  9. I fly mine the full programme as ybs some just train them others will say give them 3 races its entirely up to you , fed ybs 20% barley with yb mix as soon as they leave any barely there fed or weigh it out 1oz per bird per day so if two feeds then 1oz for every two birds am and same pm
  10. cheaper at B & Q
  11. maybe couldnt complete the order because out of stock which happens quite often i live 5 mins from there

  17. maybe someone could help your club with filling the forms out that have been accepted just a thought , my clubs a Invitation club so mine couldnt get a grant anyway
  18. well perhaps if we take a look at different sports such as golf the membership to a club for annual fees be far more than an ets system perhaps if they did there homework they could get a grant and therefore wouldnt cost them anything , but then i suppose the £1.20 per ring would be far too expensive if they lost the birds , breed better birds lor keep less theres always an answer but i suppose theres milions of excuses to leave the sport .
  19. just have a good memory from time to time lol pigeon things tend to get saved whilst appointments i forget lol as for sprinting i like the wait and anticipation rather than the traping match however my birds have won from 86 miles to 512 miles i like the flying from the channel

i would be very wairy most internet scams are done via South Africa
  23. surely the pad is external and therefore the birds are getting clocked outside and not within the confines of the loft , to be legal the board would have to be inside
  24. have to agree most races favour the East parts of the fed been further west would be more of an disavantage
  25. I agree with most of the statement however i think ets will put less abled fanciers on a equal footing , been disabled and having only the use of one arm the old clocking with thimbles is hard and although i never grumbled at the advantages my fellow flyers have removing rubbers and putting thimbles together i never have suggested they tie the arm they favour behind there back nor was there ever a suggestion of a time penalty giving me 30 seconds for each bird i've clocked , i've always had the knowledge my birds could have won if i had gained a few seconds but such as life sometimes things arent fair , good birds shine with good management and still win even if hampered at the end of there race by me thumbling with thimbles and rubbers
