  1. i have to agree with your post i mainly use the smoke bombs to check ventilation and remove moths in order to remove other nasties i dilute malathon liquid and spray the cracks and floor , for a full disinfect i use Jeyes fluid
  2. apple cider vinegar is a great anti fungal and a fraction of the cost
  3. never used either product and i have no intension of using them , i use natural products only , unless my vet advises different
  4. because theres mites which wont be on the birds but in crevaces these take blood from the birds and make them tap there feet when there resting at night , which will reduce the birds performance
  5. styerile enviroments don't work look at hospital superbugs , but removing a few moths tics or lice is hardly lowering the birds immune system quite the opposite its making the birds more able to rest and not been disturbed bt scatching or itching , puncture holes in a birds wind effects its wings uplift and downforce so a nice lice free wing helps a birds performance
  6. thats all well and good removing at night if you arent breeding but i wouldnt advise it if they are breeding as could disturb birds enough to come of there nests

  9. i use the big domed drinkers because the water fills itself by gravity they are harder to freeze unless nearly empty , ping pong bals can be put in drinkers as they will roll around the surface will be harder to ice over

  16. http://www.squark.co.uk/pigeons.htm look for Barley and follow the chart it gives the protein content and also on the lower chart vitamins where as most crops differ from year to year and location grown these are a guide to normal adverage content , as for green colouring in peas i think thats first year secondary education on plants life cycle obtaining energy from the sun and storing it as starch this starch is a green colouration also known as chlorophyll i hope that answers your question if not the internet is a great tool

  18. mine were a nice green colour because i was feeding green peas but once they had all gone had to buy maples in ill have to get more drums to store corn in realy i could do with a corn store so can buy enough in to last , the naturaline probably also helped the colour but now more brown due to the maples , but still same firmness size and shape with a nice white cap i dont use the naturaline as stated i use a capfull in every fresh drinker
