Any tip on how to correct it's gate ? It's approx 2.5 weeks old ?

tie its legs together , but might be a bit old for that to help

you could try the following

make sure there is straw / nest felt in the nest bowl

also sticking a hens egg in beside it might help

that's if its single reared

I've tried a hair band but it can't stand up took it off tonight and it's still got a fair gate. Thinking of making a splint and putting it further up the leg and also bind legs as well ?

Put a plastic clip-on ring on the non ring leg then tie a piece of string between the two rings adjusting till its the right length enabling the youngster to stand.

Spot on Tony, squabs are fat beggars and naturally have a wide gait, 2-3 inches between legs for the string. I've had this myself i'm ashamed to say as it's bad management, poor choice of nest material, Apart from my loft birds I have a loft of birds on open loft for over 30 years and never have this problem with them, they only build nests of twigs never soft material like straw/hay although they have access to here

Cheers for the advice guys. I will try what you've suggested Tony.

Will let you know the outcome in a week.

Many thanks.
