andy Burgess Posted June 13, 2017 Report Posted June 13, 2017 in 2015 i had a pair of youngsters off Walter Boswell . i named the hen Helen . she raced steady as a youngster , even took a minor club card . however she went down at 1 race , not to be seen again ,,,,,,,,,,, until this morning ? no longer carrying her phone number ring , still has her ETS on her . her life ring needed a good clean to clear the remains of a race rubber . so back almost 2 years since being away . i wonder how she raced ,or wether she bred anything for the fancier who had clearly had her in ??
Kyleakin Lofts Posted June 13, 2017 Report Posted June 13, 2017 Having her ETS on as well as a rubber, followed by your comment means she wasn't lost at the YB National. I know some fanciers let them recover and place them in a race basket to find their way back home, rules being they have to put a rubber on them. Is it possible she has been out all that time?
b.massey Posted June 13, 2017 Report Posted June 13, 2017 Maybe a fancier flying north to south fed down England got her in and waited until a race point close to thoms To go in basket as a trainer maybe put a rubber on it??
Ian McKay Posted June 13, 2017 Report Posted June 13, 2017 You should be able to scan the loft number in the ETS ring to see if it has been changed?????????????

Takes ages Anytime I have reported strays through SHU online I have had an E Mail back fairly soon with owners details
andy Burgess Posted June 13, 2017 Author Report Posted June 13, 2017 If only they could talk Andy if only Pat eh ? i think i will try the ETS ring at the "clock setters" house when doing the ring for the youngsters in a week or so .i think she has been kept in and made her escape . breeding is now over for most , and she is a nice looking hen . thats my assumption anyway .
airdrie2 Posted June 13, 2017 Report Posted June 13, 2017 You should be able to scan the loft number in the ETS ring to see if it has been changed?????????????only if it was stored by either
