What would the fancier prefer scraping out or floor grills

tried floor grills,no, okay if no floor underneath but encourages lasiness and is no good also a lot of hassle to clean off, scrape off and spray with jeyes, sorted, omo like.

Deep litter,remove damp bits in winter and off the nest dropimgs in summer with an open loft comes into its own ,does no harm to birds at all

Ditto. I also have pull out boards beneath the Aviary a foot below. Easy cleaning and not on garden floor.
