Had a visit today from my wee mate and gentleman of the sport, Dave Pirie, and friends Bob McKenzie and Donald McPherson. We had some good craic and Dave brought up a pair of gift birds. I remonstrated with him for all of two seconds lol. However, Dave is very persistent. The hen was Dave's first North section, only bird in race time, 7 open Bourges SNFC 720 miles. The cock was direct off Matt Rakes first open NFC Pau. I was very humbled and I hope to do them justice. Dave has recently suffered a broken hip, I hope your recovery starts going better Dave. I remember the days when the pigeon guys had a social life built around pigeons.
