Hugh Currie will be having his first race back in the pigeons on saturday when the Clarkston club,along with the lanarkshire fed race from Kelso, Hughie had to give the birds up a couple of years ago because what was thought the dreaded pigeon lung,thankfully hughie who is in his mid seventies,came through all the tests and now with birds from P,J.lofts and a few from club members Hughie is back in the sport I even seen him sneeking a wee cigar when Anna wisnae watching.
