As far as I know there isnae a place called the meldons it's two hills that are known as the meldons.

find that one strange jim, after the birds were lib, I jump into my car and headed home, pick up the big batch in the sky. follow them until about the red barn turn off, then lost in hills, they were moving , got home to find they had beat me home, I not a slow driver,it does not matter, who ever saw birds being chase around , I feel for the birds,

Iam not jim i work on the meldons and see most of the libs fra Lanarkshire and i don't see the point in training your birds there as i never see any race birds going up the valley an a satarday only in an east wind do they come up the tweed valley

We'll no be doing much more training Dunc the flag will be coming oot again shortly mate they have had a lot more training than the older team last year who had 5 tosses and into the 1st race and we only dropped 1 this lot have had 9 or 10 tosses now but always with cover apart from the 2 starter tosses were we got 3 reported all over Lanarkshire but the 3 of them training ok now
