Still 4/6 doos home in great shape as reported by others , I got all mine within 5 mins well off the pace but unreal to get them together lol. Hope more work home for every one .

I see yer in at 3.40, thatll be 4 diplomas Colin, well done m8 brilliant flying

15/20, 3 proven performance birds missing, if I'm honest the other two 2 year olds just made the team based on flying Clermont as ylgs and obviously not up to the job of "national pigeons" which are different from the run of the mill corridor fed doos, and as fanciers we have to understand this sometimes although weather/race conditions can affect the birds too and as owners, trainers and jockeys we have to make the right decisions that's why we are in this great sport of ours.

Naw , only timed first 2 and that was because I thought my first bird was my pooler, as stated before I only time my first bird and my pooler have never clocked more than 2 in , just my thing .

Think you correct in that a lot of federation birds can't cope with the drag all over the country instead of all heading in one direction . National races are almost like single up training ,jmo

Nationals definitely a step up Colin got bird 10.10 from behampton last year just out the tickets and got him at16.02 Monday don't think he'll be quick enough again got club tickets but just not good enough for a diploma..at least he's there to fight another day m8

5 from 8 (plus a hen from 2 weeks ago) . first home looked rough , like he,d had a hard time . all others looked well. i am assuming the first homed without stopping and the others went down for a drink . it was a hot day after all .

 

 

still only 5 from 8 , yet , had another hen from 2 weeks ago ??? which has me hopeful over the next few weeks they may yet show up ?? :emoticon-0138-thinking:
