peter pandy Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 A teaspoon is 2.5 gramsA teaspoon of what ? can only be measured in weight due to the density of what is being weighed. expletive remove.
REDCHEQHEN Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 That's a big teaspoon 5g is one teaspoon - or 5ml for liquids. The chemist always gives one with a child's prescription medicine. You can get little egg spoons and dessertspoons and tablespoons. But a teaspoon is 5ml (5g)Soupspoon is 10g (10 ml)And a tablespoon is 15g (15ml) Get yourselves a set of measuring spoons - they go from 1.25 ml to 15ml and are very useful. Pound shop if you don't mind pink, blue or lilac

peter pandy Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 A teaspoon of ronidazole what the topic is about is 2.5 grams as I weighted it last week before I used itAccording to my scales and measuring container 1 level teaspoon = 3 Grams and if we want to be really specific I hope he weighs the water to achieve the proper directions for medicinal use LOL
kingziemckay Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 why waste money on these products? i would also really like to know why you shouldnt waste money on these products? inlighten me on the matter??
greenlands Posted June 1, 2016 Author Report Posted June 1, 2016 For the last twenty plus years of my employment I worked as an engineer in a cheese making factory, one of the bi-products was whey powder which at the time was bagged at 25 Kg.IF the drier produced the powder too light it was impossible to get 20 Kg in the same size bag.Same applies here, each powder weighs different and possibly the same applies to the same product by different manufactures.
peter pandy Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 When I was employed in the Pharmaceutical industry all finished products were weighed for moisture content and it was not surprising as Lindsay states, that physical attributes can define weight and milling can produce differing measuring properties, just as density can and does. If I have to give medicine especially powdered form, I dont trust the little witches hat as a measure, due to the amount you can or cannot cram into it. In my experience legitimate companies supplying medicines always give a weight measure not by the spoon.
