Good thought provoking thread this one, I'm sure when we have these discussions about rules they must be badly written or they wouldn't be open to interpretation, I agree with Big Davie that Rule 9, recorded after pigeon has entered loft was meant to mean after the bird was trapped or contained, no mention of shape or form of The Loft you'll notice but I guess will come up every year until the wording is corrected

rules and gets made an example of.

Good evening Davie . After reading post #133 I thought there must be a story going around but like myself if you have not heard this then I have no problem saying I apologise.

Now let's get back to this ets fckn thread :emoticon-0136-giggle: . Can't remember if it was last year or the year before I started a thread about the same topic and soon realised with some of the feed back that pads under the Sputnik landing board could cause a lot of problems. At that time i had a number of ets systems here and sorted out some pigeon fanciers with very cheap systems. I kept one of the systems for my self to help family and friends let birds in .not just for race day but for every day . And the way it works is the training ets I will call it is on 24/7 and will record any birds landing on the old sputniks as not registered. And then the ets system which has been raced marked can be opened allowing race birds to trap and be recorded. Now will be some guys thinking why does the training clock not show the ring number :emoticon-0126-nerd: l have removed the battery from the base station so it no longer has memory function. Hope the .*expletive removed* that explains it. But to keep myself in the good books I will now remove the ( make life easy system lol). Hope this reads the way I intended it to :emoticon-0136-giggle:

And if your not going to post again G. I. R. U. Y. Ya old bassa

Would also like add to this me being me :emoticon-0136-giggle: . And using the word active was very misleading what I meant was both systems had electricity powering them :emoticon-0136-giggle:

So really the training clock has no purpose at all?? It merely regesters unknown birds and presumably only the once?

Waste of leccy
