THE FIFER Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 there's a link to all mp's with e-mail , http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/msps/current-msps.aspx
Ian McKay Posted July 27, 2015 Author Report Posted July 27, 2015 Some great points you have brought up Ian but this has been going round in circles for years and still nothing done I am sure the late stan bonnington from Loanhead met with ministers with save our sport and here we are years later and in a worst state Instead of all the cash we as a sport raise for other charities started to raise cash to help ourselves the charities we help each year might just wonder and come on side with us Covered that in my first article John Quote Your right Stuart but what took you so long to realise what is happening Pigeon men cannot agree on anything we have transporters running 60% empty but will not convoy others We have clubs with only 2 or 3 members flying but will not join a bigger clubsWe have fanciers who cannot get into a club Clubs that cannot get into FedsUnions that won't uphold the interests of ALL members We have 2 National clubs in Scotland which is ridiculous ??We have Unions that are only interested in making money and do not represent there members properly (not going to quote problems we all know them)We seem to be governed by people only interested in there own EgosWe have some dominant people who want there own way at any cost Why you may ask Answer we the members don't want to do anything we are happy to leave it to others and then complain when things go wrong but we will still not do anything about itI could go on all day but why at 68 I think I have seen it all Greed Profit SpitefullnessLack of supportLack of interestUnhelpfull membersAnd the ego trippersAnd the biggest of all the RSPB and there Very powerfull lobbying of Parliment our Unions cannot and will not compete so we just keep funding charities who do not help us in any way I do not know any other sport or organisation that has this problem and sits back and accepts it untill we get TOGETHER and all sing from the same hymn sheet we will get NOWHERE Hope the members get there birds back but for what another slaughter next week? Good on your driver for reporting it and Officials for not covering it upIan Mckay
Ian McKay Posted July 27, 2015 Author Report Posted July 27, 2015 drive all the transporters to London and do what the French do and blockade the streets and bring London to a stand still then they might listen to our case This appeals to me could it be done YES with a little more thought and organisation Thanks Brilliant :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:
lastdrop Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Transporters could be adorned with shocking pictures of half eaten pigeons to add as much trauma as possible
peter pandy Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 drive all the transporters to London and do what the French do and blockade the streets and bring London to a stand still then they might listen to our case Well put Peter and at long last a sensible solution where it will be reported not only in the press but BBC and ITV news. LETS BLOODY DO IT.
maverick Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Did the rpra not have a raptor alliance who tried to get a petition going but needed around 100,000 signatures to try and get the law changed about raptors
THE FIFER Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 hit both parliaments on the same day, one lot to London and one lot to Edinburgh
maverick Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 There you go guys one night and a good idea would take a bit of organisation but would cause a big impact

Guest stb- Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 i wonder is it more out of experence knowing that one bad move in the sky and there dead The fear is inbreed into them its got somthing to do with the wing and body shape the know it the minute there allowed out the loft at 3 weeks . 3 curlews went over my loft few days ago and birds in the aviary bounced of the walls , but looking at them very similar wing and body shape and move fast .
greenbar Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 the same here rab, dones not need to be a raptor flying over,a crow, rook starling ,etc lands on the roof they sh** their selves, once the fear factor kicks in, I reckon the homing instinct goes as well.
