how far would you send a yearling would any one send them 572 miles, they go wednesday this week a bit advice wouldn't go a miss as you lads up north seem to have the goods when it comes to distance racing. thanks

In my experience 572miles iss a fookin long way!!!! Yes the yearling could fly it but a more experienced head might be an advantage if the birsd has to overnight or go down for water in the flying time

the decision is yours alone , dont know how its bred ? how its performed ? how much work its had ? is this a big jump for it mileage wise? what about the terrain ? must assume it going over water ? has it flown over water before ? has it been fed right? etc,etc

if you can answer all the above , and still have confidence to send it , then i wish all the very best . please let us know what you decide to do, and how you get on.

If the pigeon is in good racing condition and been racing consistently I would have no qualms about sending with confidence

furthest she has been is 300 miles and hasn't been over the water, it's another 272 miles for her she is extreme distance bred she feels and handles lovelly better than two of the cocks i'm sending.

Put her away to next year she's done well to fly 300 mile as a yearling but that's just my opinion . :emoticon-0167-beer: :emoticon-0167-beer: :emoticon-0167-beer:
