Kyleakin Lofts Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 Andy try emailing Linda in the first instance or better still phone her. Ask the procedure from her and then take it the full road if the fancier doesn't contact you.We all appreciate that some may find difficulties regards sending for strays and we do our best to assist them, but they should at least give the common courtesy of making contact with us. Complete refusal to make contact should not be allowed unless there are extenuating circumstances, e.g. perhaps in hospital or taken ill.

eastcoaster Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 I had the opposite , lost 8 ybs from the only race I sent 7 got reported ! There was one I really wanted back and offered to send for it but fancier said he knew someone close to Airdrie and would have it released , never saw it again then a phone call 2 weeks ago reporting the same pigeon in the same town but guy said he had taken over the guys loft and this bird was in there , same phone number ? I would have let him keep it if that's what he wanted then told me he has some cracking ybs of it this year .lol
