Rest in Peace Jim...

Jim was a good friend ,in fact way back in 1978 he gave me two rings to ring my first young birds I ever bred ,as I wasn't a member of the club at that time SU 78 R. 578 and 579. Jim never married as he worked away from home most of his life u name it he's prob worked there. Apart from at the start when he was in partnership as Cameron and MacLeish , he's had silent partners until the last one big jamba thomson , then it became Cameron and thomson , but sadly his health deteriated the last few years and he never got over the death of his sister .his lungs were done ,he needed a lung transplant he was on the list both up here in Scotland and also down south were he worked . The last year or so he had to carry an oxygen tank/ mask with him and had to give up the birds which apart from work was his life .
