Hi Chris.

Im afraid its not easy flying into the north west. I am in Oban and fly with The Alexandria club which is a 75 mile drive each way for me. There is no club any further North that Im aware of. Its a hard game getting doos to fly into Oban, will be even harder for you Im afraid. Im still enjoying trying though and I have a few birds that have raced to me and Im trying to build a team around them now. If I can be any help feel free to give me a bell 07733017776

It will be real hard getting doos to fly into there Chris. I am moving a few pairs out the stock loft that you are welcome to. Thing is I am moving them out because they haven't bred me anything that survived trying to fly into Oban so its not likely they would for you. But if its just to breed some young birds to have a bit of fun there would be 2 pairs your welcome to.

Hi Chris, I would advise you to keep in touch with Ally. He has experience of flying your route and can give you first hand advice on training etc. He hasn't had an easy time, predators in your area are many and of diverse types compared to most faced by others, so listen to his advice on loft design.

You have had some really good offers of pigeons. The guys from the north fly longer distances than most, so their pigeons may work for you. Ally has pigeons that have flown his route, so if you are able to get some from him, take them. The ones he has offered you already will give you some experience and may become good feeders for you. :)

Chris one thing for sure, try and visit a few lofts before you start building your own. I didn't and ended up changing it again and again. Your welcome to pop in here any time. Al.
