THE FIFER Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 This thread has had to be split, because of the usual off topics which take place on these topics, some genuine posts may have been removed this is because to move some answers to others would not fit in, some others may have been taken off in the prosess, if you have had a genuine post moved ,as long as it is in topic and not agressive by all means post it on, but I also think that Mr Gibson's name is better left out of those topics from now on as it just takes things away from the thread topic, please carry on with the topic in question and enjoy, if it goes off topic again the whole thread may have to be removed, ADMIN.

The Grass Cutter Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Changes have to be made, anyone associated with the previous committee must stand aside for the good of the SNFC. T.McEwen for President, G. Rankin and F. Jamieson for Vice Presidents. Mrs M. Murphy as the secretary.
Delboy Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Davy Mc Caig as Secretary. Mr Garven was appointed by you know who

As some of the names being put forward now have served on the Comittee over the past few years! And not all Comittee Members agree with the Way things have gone but have stuck it out so as not to allow the SNFC to be dragged down but even they can be 'overuled' my Senior Members!

Henrik Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Nothing wrong with the Sec we have and also it isnt as easy as voting him off as he has a contract of employment. Also i will be voting against the Commitee proposal as if i want to join the NFC I firstly have to join the RPRA and dont see why things should be any different up here things shouldnt be changing to appease a few disgruntled ex members n for the few hundred birds it would generate it aint worth the hassle it would cause. Fact is you would maybe end up with another 500 ml club being started thus splitting the birdages 3 ways.
Guest Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Henrik your going to have to join the rpra if you want to race with the nfc because they are run under their rules he can get a form from harry, ;D ??)
Guest Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 He can get a form from wherever he likes but to be able to race with the NFC he going to have to join the RPRA because thats whos rules they race under What would you do if their was an objection into a bird and they werent RPRA member :-/ nothing,
alec guinness Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 i just hope the people appointed will be backed by the membership, recently this has not been the case, with over 1000 members finding a commitee of 15 has proved very difficult these last few years.the top table must include experience as to change all positions could be damaging.

Well Said, as this is exactly what happened when the split occured and we are now seeing the consequences of that!

I agree with you Alec. Last AGM, it seemed to take forever to get nominations for committee. Having elected these folk, they deserve members' full support. Thanks too to Henrik for pointing out that the Secy post isn't an annual nominated one, the person in this post is a paid employee, with a contract of employment.
