I had a problem with my ets , when I put it on it said 2 ring sensors ok but when I checked the clock it said I had 6 birds home I had 13 home on checking the pads the right hand side of both pads were working the left sides were not I checked the cables one of the cables had a very small nick on it so I changed it , on checking both sides of the pads they were working ok. Just to let you no that's what caused the fault

Think a lot of people need to be educated on the system had no bother on all the years we have had it about 8 or 9 and I run the ets for the club

Ive had the system since 2001 and was the first person to get a lottery grant for it, therefore anyone that got an ets from the lottery after that , it was partly down to my goodself for opening the door for them.I ran the large Kirkintilloch club and we were the first to use it in the west of Scotland. Ive helped 100s of folk with ets problems and I know it back to front.Ive helped 100s of folk get the grant also. So, im very well educated in it ( probably more than most ) and still cant fathom out why my 2 SNFC entries rings have blanked on me.

I think you are one of the very lucky ones mate, there are things that seem to happen with the ETS that no one seems to be able to explain no matter how educated they are.

How about this one,a member last week had sent 3 birds to the national race Wednesday marking, came to the club on Friday to mark for the first young bird race set up the Unikon system as usual first young bird to be marked was added on to the list of birds he had sent to the national,we printed a list out and there it was 4th bird on the list of his National printout, how can you add a bird to a race that had been marked 2 days earlier, perhaps you can explain that one because no one else can.

As soon as a printout is issued Walter you are out of marking mode.

Would of thought so but how it marked a bird onto his clock two days later I cant explain surely the software should have prevented this.

not if you only take a run off so you can time more birds

you can take a run off time without striking off and closing the race with unikon looks like thats what they have done m8

No birds had been clocked they had been marked ready for a race and then when we tried to mark for a second race 2 days after the first bird marked onto the race that was all ready in the clock.

see what you mean now was the name of both races in the clock in our club we would have killed the race before marking the ybs anyway but we had a problem one year when the club base station had been used at the national cant think of any other reason pigeon man

ah see that now dell but why was the first race not killed before trying to mark for the yb was the national race not over or was the race still on

Because both races were still live Wattie. Apart from that , you can have 5 different races going in your clock at one time but no way should they interfere with each other.
