Guest Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 what you on about vinny not long ago it was your fed to but you lot seem to like it in a small way ie two bob fed and two bob national.your losing your memory along wae your marbles It was in relation to bigdas love of the fed that he is always harping on about,of which i am still a member .So for Danny to highlight that national loses are a big problem i was just pointing out that issues closer to himself have been a lot worse. And as for two bob comments tut tut Marshall.
nagid Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 ok then ten bob that better.must be great in that fed yous dont lose any.
Guest Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 ok then ten bob that better.must be great in that fed yous dont lose any. You are missing the point Marshall,it was not a dig at the fed merely an observation regarding the threads topic.

Guest bigda Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 vincey you have missed the point, the distance racing is by members who know how to set there birds up for these type of races, this particular race is totally different to that of the fed, yes there birds raced the fed and came out of the smash, but there are allot that hasn't this time any idea as to why !
Guest Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 AT LEAST WE STICK BY OUR FED NOT LIKE YOU JUMPING SHIP. Look i entered into a partnership with my stepfather and if the rule 33 did not exist i would be a member of both.So rules are barring me no jumping ship. :-/ :-/ :-/

Chris Little Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 Bigda has kicked off a thread which has a serious tone to it but as expected squabbling is never far away ??) who cares what fed or which national we all fly in, the bottom line is this year's SNRPC / SNFC young bird nationals have been poor Thankfully we never sent to any of them but I do feel for the guys have lost a lot of birds..... and well done to those who all timed.... in both nationals I have yet to speak to any Solway guys about yesterdays race but last week there was 1/6 , 1/10..... we simply cannot keep on going like this.
Guest bigda Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 didnt think you where a bed hopper there vincey, cosy is it
nagid Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 what im trying to say is if there was one big race for all.with all birds going same way surely it would be better for the birds and for us.and to win that would be a true national win

The majority are quite simply not good enough for national racing mate, especially when it comes to 500 mile racing when the bird has to do it on its own.As to young bird racing, the ybn is the first time these birds have had to race within a convoy of birds racing into all areas of Scotland and not racing with big convoys into the one area.Young bird health also posses big problems that were not present 25 years ago,and remember the 98% sh..e rule which i agree with relating to 500 mile racing.
Novice Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 I beiieve Gem have gps systems for pigeons. http://www.gemsupplements.com/start.htm Lindsay. As far as I am aware they do not transmit. I appreciate these are available and have been used to track migratory birds but as far as I am aware they are not generally available.
