Re momday lib, there used to be a ban on all pigeon libs within France on Bastille Day??With good reason I may add?!!why dont they race on bastille day, what happens
W.D. Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 why dont they race on bastille day, what happens Its because of all the erractic races they have had in the past, they could only put it down to all the radar, etc used by the Defence Systems leading up to the big parade on the 14th through Paris, with lots of heads of state, etc. present, especially anyone liberating birds from around the Paris area were experiencing some disasters of races on otherwise good days. The French Union decided to stop liberating on this day in the late 90s,dont know when the ban was applied for other countries.Hopefully you are far enough away not to be affected if you do decide to go tomorrow morning?
VMS Posted July 12, 2014 Author Report Posted July 12, 2014 Think we have more obsticles to be concerned about than Basdile day lol, good luck everyone :emoticon-0167-beer:
