HOMER49 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Hi At tonights SHU meeting the objection to Lanarkshire going with the SNFC was defeated So Lanarkshire are going with the SNFC Cheers Homer 49
Guest bigda Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 hopefully, just this year. can imagine how many national minded members that where at the meeting oh well looks like the Lanarkshire will have the drag of the doos from eastborne, and there are more ;)east winds. cant see the lanarkshire supporting the first race and Ypres much so i predict 2,000 birds for the first with Nat members sending gold cup hopefulls there, a few Nat men sending yearling's to eastborne, the lanarkshire will make it up to about 1,200 doos max, again ypes the Nat men will renege on, and go to France Claremont with the unc, the max amount to go to that race Ypres will be about 400. so dont see great profit there for the nat, be lucky to break even ;D

Guest bigda Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 too many races for the Pilgrims, Nat men and are only holding a hand full of doos now, out of a 1,000 members in the Nat, they at present, cant muster any more than 4,500 doos in total and i think the gold cup, will deplete most of them ;D ;D

Guest bigda Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 if the lanarkshire has the same £1 per bird fee as wee have to pay the national we can go anywhere but for some strange reason the distance men in our fed don't want to give the fed anything and only using us for cheap training, and think that need to be addressed i have said before we can do without with the 400 doos that are banged about the fed as trainers hours on the wing you have already got 2 in land races of yer own the lanarkshire should be stand alone as it was set up to do, we don't need any one if the fire is to hot in the lanarkshire stay out of the kitchen you have your own club for distance racing support that instead of every one seeing you all as leeches ;D
